Focused on the production of rare and innovative, extremely small production of distillates and spirits, such as PÚRO, we aspire, through our quality, our wine-growing heritage and synergy, to internationally highlight the richness of Greek production and the tasteful treasures of our place.

The “A. T. PÚRO KARATHANOS – Artisan Spirits”, is located in Paliouri, Karditsa, at the foothills of the Thessalian Agrafa. It is the newest and smallest Greek company producing distilled alcoholic beverages. However, it carries with it a long-standing family and local tradition in organic farming, viticulture, wine making, distillation and aging as well as the great professional experience and scientific guidance of its creator.
To create high quality products,
we give primary importance to respecting nature, its vineyard and its ecosystem, and the tradition of manual vine-cultivating practices to give us the grapes desirable. Then we make use of all its virtues, through the composition, blending and combination of the wine-tasting experience of the fruits of each vine, if possible.
So, the main role
is for the grapes themselves, all the varieties one-on-one, but also the people, those who participate in the production, but also those who simply enjoy as consumers, leaving the varieties, the technical characteristics, the mechanical equipment, the oenological substances and the unnecessary -times- descriptions …
